PROJECT SKILLS
Manage a small team of professional and technical people.
Ability to identify and raise suite of Project Procedures & Deliverables.
Act as an internal advisor / specialist to other offices or disciplines within company
Senior and peer review of relevant work prepared by others
Project and client management experience
Plan and co-ordinate regulatory approval processes.
Knowledge of applicable best practices
Knowledge of applicable environmental legislation and regulations
Field skills including site inspections, media sample collection, supervision of contractors
GENERAL SKILLS
Act as mentor to graduates and/or technical specialists.
Proven skills within the consulting industry
Review specialist sub-contractor work.
Ability to work independently or with a team to accomplish complex tasks
Experience writing detailed technical reports
Flexibility to handle multiple assignments while meeting deadlines
Good presentation and interpersonal skills with stakeholder focus
Strong computer skills specific to internet research, analysis, spreadsheet and database applications, modelling, as well as standard industry technologies
Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Environmental Department.
Understanding and following safe working practices in all activities
REPORTING
Works under general supervision of and reports to Technical Manager of Environment Customer Group
Reports to Project Manager in multi-discipline projects
