My client is a leading infrastructure & building development and management services provider in the Asia Pacific region. They are part of an Australian owned conglomerate with an impressive portfolio epitomising professionalism in world-class infrastructure and building management. They have a requirement for an experienced structural designer with strong focus on high-rise projects and who is able to provide expertise and oversee a design team.

Senior Structural Design Engineer, High-Rise Specialist, Singapore!

Duties

# Review of technical documentation including engineering and shop drawings, technical specifications, and specialist consultant reports.
# Code compliance assessment of presented designs
# Critical review and testing of structural concepts
# Value engineering and risk assessment of structural systems
# Tender documentation evaluation
# Assisting in prequalification of engineering consultants
# Representing the company in front of local authorities as required.

Requirements

# Have a minimum of 15-20 years of professional experience with HIGH-RISE experience a MUST. Applicants with experience of 50+ levels will only be considered.
# A minimum of bachelor or equivalent university degree from a recognised institution
# Have extensive finite element modelling and analysis experience with structural analysis software, preferably with ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.
# Able to lead and manage a team of engineers
# Able to interact with internal team members and external consultants
# Experience should be predominantly in a consulting environment
